Sunrise received funding from the EIC Accelerator, the most ambitious and challenging public funding programme for start-ups in Europe.
Part of the EIC, which has a budget of over 7 billion eur from 2021 to 2027, supports disruptive deep-tech startups and scaleups.
Since its launch in March 2021, over 7,000 start-ups and subject matter experts have sent their ideas with over 4,000 submitting full applications. 238 companies thus far have been selected for funding by the EIC in 2021 and 2022.
